The project which is carrying out in the period 01.08.2010 – 31.07.2011 is co-financed by the European Social Fund through the Operational Sectorial Programme of Human Resources Development 2007 – 2013, Priority Axis 3 „Increasing adaptability of workers and enterprises”, Major Intervention Domain 3.2. „Training and support for workers and enterprises for promoting adaptability” (Contract POSDRU/78/3.2/A/66207). The project is implemented by the CONSUL SECURITY SYSTEM Ltd. The CREST Resource Center supports the project by technical assistance services.

The general objective of the project is the constant and singnificant diminish of the number of accidents and professional diseases within the employees of CONSUL SECURITY SYSTEM Ltd. and the continuous improvement of the work security and health level.

The specific objectives of the project are:

• Assuring the organisational framework of the company necessar for the work health and security according to the standard OHSAS 18001:2008 and to the national legislation into force, the Law 319/2006 with the subsequent changes;
• Training of the company s employees in the domain of work health and security and of an internal auditor in health and security systems;
• Assuring the necessary means for the security and health of the employees of the company – electricians – according for the standards in force.

The activities of the project will be:

• Informing and training of the employees in the work health and security domain (in the Occupational Health and Security Management System OHSAS 18001);
• Elaboration of the procedures for the contiunuous improvement of the performances concerning the work health and security, and their conformity with the in force legislation;
• Aquisition of the necessary means for the security and health of the company s employees according to the standards in force;
• The mediatization of the project.

The total amount of the project is 70.493,60 lei of which the eligible amount of the grant given by the European Social Fund is of 53.482,00 lei, the eligible amount of the grant given by the national budget is of 9.438,00 lei, and 7.573,60 lei represent the uneligible amount of the project.
